Abstract
This study purposed to investigate the relationship between the KSD and the subscale of K-CYP test to the elementary children. Subjects were 173 of 5th and 6th grade children in D city. Every subject was asked to draw the Kinetic School Drawing and to check the items of K-CYP test. Results were follows; first, subjects who evaluated own¡¯s cognitive ability as having a disorder showed less interaction among peers when drawing the KSD, and subjects with higher reality distortion showed less scores on the cooperative aspect when drawing the teacher in classroom Less cooperative scores in drawing peers related to the higher score of impulsivity/Inattention, the less social skill, and the level of increasing computer game in life on K-CYP test. Subjects who had higher score of somatization problem drew the teacher as a more assault figure, and the higher score of impulsive/inattention and misbehavior drew the peers and the self as a more assault. Second, the shortened arm length related with the computer game addiction and the higher misbehavior related with the less emotional expression with face to the peers. Third, the more superior of figure to teacher related with reducing the psychological anxiety, and the less social skill drew the further distance between the teacher and the peer in KSD. The less interaction among the teacher, peers, and self was related with the higher score of reality distortion, psychological discomfort, social withdrawal, impulsivity/inattention, family conflict, cognitive inability, and computer addictions.
